13th December 2003 Windsurfing: Bala Wind Direction: wsw Wind Stength: force 3 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: OK Sea Temperature: ok Weather: Bit of Drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered: Was not convinced that I should be going but Clive dragged me along, saying that we should leave the 8.6m sail as it was going to be windy. Bet he wishes differently now. Arrived to find 2 others rigging up 8+ sails with only a moderate breeze - I grabbed the 7.1m, which at times was powered up, with very little out and down haul. Still did get up on the plane a few times, which made it all worth it and the weather and water not too cold. Good to get out and do something and even though Clive was not exactly planning he still enjoyed that wet feelin. |
